PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) has consistently added modern vessels to its fleet. On October 18, 2024, in Egypt, PVTrans officially took delivery of the MR Product Tanker – PVT Valencia, with capacity of 47,399 DWT, buitt in Japan in December 2008. The tanker is equipped with advanced technology to meet the stringent standards and requirements of global maritime industry.
After its handover, PVT Valencia immediately joined Hafnia Pool , one of the world’s leading pools for products tanker, to start operating in international markets under PVTrans Oilfield Services.
Since early 2024 to now, PVTrans’s subsidiaries have also welcomed 06 new vessels to its fleet, which are various types and capacities, allowing them to flexible adapt to different market demands, including product tankers, chemical tankers, LPG carriers, and bulk carriers.
With a fleet of of 58 vessels and a total capacity of approximately 1.7 million DWT, PVTrans remains its position as Vietnam’s No. 1 liquid cargo transporter. Nearly 90% of PVTrans’s fleet operates on international routes, reaching high-end markets such as Europe and North America, where the highest technical and safety standards are required.
