On April 14, 2021, MV. The Harmony under Vietnamese Master and Crews belong of Hoa PHAT Shipping Joint Stock Company, UMMS Singapore transported more than 80,000 tons of coal from Australia to Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Production Complex, Quang Ngai province. This is The Harmony‘s first trip/operation after returning to Hoa Phat Steel Corporation.
Built in Japan, The Harmony has modern equipment, high safety, fully meets the strict standards of quality, technical safety and remuneration for crew members and trips. Convenient goods throughout the journey. Currently, the shipping market is very short of ships, and Kamsarmax shipping rates doubled after the Lunar New Year. Hoa Phat has a very large amount of goods, each year it needs to import tens of millions of tons of iron ore, coal, limestone, scrap… at home and abroad to serve production. Owning ships and operating them themselves helps Hoa Phat be proactive in importing raw materials for production as well as export, while reducing freight risks when ship prices increase.
