Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company (VOSCO, stock code VOS – HoSE) has just officially received the handover of the MV. VOSCO STARLIGHT supramax bulk carrier with a capacity of 31,540 GRT in Yokohama, Japan. Thereby, increasing the size of the VOSCO’s fleet to 16 ships. VOSCO also informed the company will receive 8 new ships in the 2025. Thereby, marking an important milestone contributing to increasing the transportation capacity and competitiveness of the company’s fleet.

The vessel VOSCO STARLIGHT (IMO 9514030, MMSI 352005078) is a Bulk Carrier built in 2011 (14 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Panama.The ship will make the first shipment from China to Vietnam in early February 2025.
